Assignment 1 - Photo Manipulation

           This is a photo which I took on October 28, 2010 in my room. It is a flower and I don’t know her name. Autumn is a season of harvest: the flowers are blooming, the fruit are full. I am so excited to take a picture for the flower open. It was very beautiful, and reality, it looks like you can break it easily when you touch it. As the old saying goes: “It can only be admired, but not be disallowed.” But every picture cannot be perfect. In my opinion; the picture’s color is too light, so first I changed the color, and I made it redder, more yellow and purple. What’s more, due to the focal length is 0, I changed the color saturation degree; I made it dark, more colorful. At the end, I made it more clearly.

       This picture I took on July 14 2011. I was travel in Suzhou city, China alone on my holiday. It was a wonderful night, old style houses, old style boats, so I changed the picture to black-and-white photo, made it like Qing dynasty. LOL

              This image took on April 24 2012, my friends and I went to high park and admire cherry. It’s wonderful there; lots of people came from everywhere so see the beautiful view. And, we walked by the river. Suddenly, a big, white goose came to our view; she is gorgeous like Snow White. The original picture is too gray, so I changed the main color; I made it bluer and lighter. In the other hand, I changed the goose whiter, and I changed her beak orange. She is perfect now.

           This is a picture took by my friend on, April 22, 2012. This picture was not shot by me, because I am in the picture. Personally, Niagara Fall is the most famous view in Canada. This is the second time I went to Niagara Fall. But the mood was always excited, face to nature, we are so tiny. The weather was not good on that day; it was raining, so the picture was dark. I changed the contrast, made the water green, made the foggy whiter, and made me hazy. At the last, I changed the picture to old style, made the picture has more contents. Making people think what we were doing on the old day.

             He is my friend’s dog, Toby. Due to my friend had to go back to China, so I need took care of this naughty little guy. And he is very sticky. He is a good door guard, he bark everyone who close the main door. Look at him; he is very cute, isn’t he? His eyes are so big and blazing. This picture I cut the top-right edge, I forgot what the black thing was. I changed the picture to MEMO style, made him like a cartoon dog.
